Tier Time is a podcast designed with Tom Hoang and Eduardo Santellano that engages listeners by having hosts and guests rank things of a specific field from S (the best) to F (the worst). The podcast is open to listeners of all kind of interests, such as sports, food, film, tech, and more, but the entertaining hosts keep them watching with explosive personalities, takes, and a chance to step into the spotlight and add a piece of their mind to the table.
The goal of Tier Time is to show listeners that something as mindful as ranking things can be endless entertainment, and that varying opinions should be listened to. The inclusion of a vibrant theme, guest appearances, fan engagement, and a full emphasis on the fun of ranking anything you can think of is what will set Tier Time apart from other trivial podcasts.
At first, we scrambled a lot to figure out a theme for something as broad as Tier Lists, but once we started to figure out each others' design strengths, we mixed them together to form one cohesive design that would be consistent with all of our other designs, like banners and merchandise.
We went for a colorful, pop art themed design, as it helps visualize the pop culture aspect of tier lists, as well as the potential endless variety of the podcast. The colors represent the tiers in the Tier List, and the hourglass represents the time in the "Tier Time" name.
